MODEL 1851 SABRE BELT PLATE – THREE PIECE APPLIED
SILVER WREATH – WITH NUMBERED HASP – EXCELLENT
CONDITION: This is an excellent Civil War Model
1851 Enlisted Sabre Belt Plate with the three piece
applied German silver wreath. The plate is in full
form, in excellent condition, and the plate is stamped
on the reverse with the number “691”. The hasp that was
obtained with this plate is also numbered – “190”, and
although the numbers do not match, the hasp fits the
plate perfectly and the color of the brass of the two
pieces matches. From all appearances, the plate and
hasp have been together for some time, and were likely
used together on the same belt. This is a beautiful
plate in excellent condition, with the added value of
retaining the matching hasp. (1004) $450
