SABRE HANGER CHAPE FOR THE US ARMY OFFICER’S “SAM
BROWNE” FIELD AND GARRISON BELTS – IN EXCELLENT “LIKE
NEW” UNISSUED CONDITION - JQMD MADE: An
important accessory to complete the US Army Officer’s
1921 Field Belt and the “Sam Browne” Garrison Belts,
this Jefferson Quartermaster Depot (JQMD) produced Sabre
Hanger Chape is commonly missing from these belts and
examples, particularly of this quality, are seldom found
on the loose.
In excellent “like new” unissued condition, and showing
no signs of use, wear or aging, this sabre hanger chape
is stamped with the characteristic JQMD oval cartouche.
