FRANKFORD ARSENAL
GATLING GUN BLANK AMMUNITION PACKET:
A Frankford Arsenal box of .45/70 Blank ammunition for
the Gatling Gun. This packet has been opened, and the
blanks expended, however 19 of the original expended
blank cartridges were replaced in the box, probably in
anticipation of the soldiers reloading them. The box is
in full form and the label is fairly complete, with most
of the characters legible. The top of the box is ink
stamped “JAN 20 1905”. In spite of being opened, this
is still a very collectable specimen due to a low
