DUPONT GUNPOWDER CAN SETS – VERY NICE SELECTION:  The following gunpowder cans were produced by the famous Dupont Company in Delaware.  I have the following sets and individual cans available, each listed separately below with accompanying photographs.

NO. 1  DUPONT IMPROVED MILITARY RIFLE POWDER 2 CAN SET – ca. 1946-1950 - EXCELLENT CONDITION:  A very attractive two can set of DUPONT Improved Military Rifle Powder, believed to have been produced after World War Two, ca. 1946-1950.  The branding including the words "Improved Military" was a marketing effort to appeal to the returning veterans and assure them that this powder was what they were used to using in the service.  These cans held two types of powder - No. 3031 and No. 4350.  These are one pound sized cans, each with full legible labels in excellent condition.  One can retains the top label, the other can, not.  The cans are full form with no dents or other damage, each with the original cap.  A great set to display with a post WWII rifle and the related loading accessories.  (0523) $35

NO. 2  DUPONT FFg GUNPOWDER CAN – VERY NICE CONDITION:  A very attractive DUPONT Gun Powder Can, Superfine FFg, one pound size, with complete, legible label in very good to excellent condition.  Label is full form, completely legible, with only minor rubs.  The can is full form with no dents or other damage with the bright red enamel paint 99% intact – only minor scratches and rubs at the edges.  The cap is also intact.  Great for display with a rifle and the related loading accessories.   SOLD

NO. 3  DUPONT SUPERFINE GUNPOWDER 4 CAN SET – ca. 1924 - EXCELLENT CONDITION:  A very attractive DUPONT Superfine Gun Powder Can Set, including all four grades of powder -  Fg, FFg, FFFg, and FFFFg.  These are one pound sized cans, each with full legible labels in excellent condition.  The cans are full form with no dents or other damage, each with the original cap, and with the bright red enamel paint 99% intact – only minor scratches and rubs at the edges.  A great set to display with a rifle and the related loading accessories.  SOLD
