MODEL 1902 ENLISTED ARTILLERYMAN’S DRESS CAP
INSIGNIA – ORIGINAL: An original Model 1902
Artillery Enlisted man’s Dress Cap Insignia, issued with
the dark blue dress uniform cap.
This insignia was affixed with a threaded post and
“screw back” washer through a eyelet hole set in the
front of the crown of the Artillery Soldier’s hat and
measures 2” long and 1 ¼” high. This insignia is
unissued, old original stock, in like new condition,
with both of the stabilizing pins still intact on the
upper ends of the reverse side of the cannon barrels.
Below the crossed cannons is the integral unit numeral
“11” indicating the 11TH US Regiment of
Artillery.
Less common than the infantry and cavalry Forage Cap
insignias, this artillery insignia will be a nice
addition to your uniform collection. (0428) $45
