WORLD WAR ONE & WORLD WAR TWO MODEL 1910 CANTEENS:  Nice examples of canteens from the World Wars.  Each listed below with accompanying photographs. 

WORLD WAR ONE MODEL 1910 CANTEEN - DATED 1918:  This Model 1910 Canteen was manufactured in 1918 by the B.A. Company and is so stamped legibly on the reverse of the body.  The body is full form with no misshaping, the cap threads properly on the spout, the chain is present and the cork inset is present in the cap.  Overall this is a very respectable example.  (0943)  $30 

WORLD WAR TWO MODEL 1910 CANTEEN –  VERY NICE SPECIMEN:  A very nice example of a World War Two produced Model 1910 Canteen. 

The canteen and cup are both full form with no significant dents and no cracks or other defects and the handle on the cup functions properly.  The canteen is maker marked “US” and “A P Co. 1942” and the cup is marked “US” “FOLEY MFG. Co. 1943”.  There is also a soldier applied identification on the bottom of the cup, “M8780” and “CM”. 

For those of you looking for pre-D-Day dated pieces, this is a nice early World War II set.    (0448)  $50
