COLT MODEL 1862 POLICE REVOLVER .36 CALIBER BULLET
MOLD – VERY NICE CONDITION: Showing some
evidence of use, this Colt Police Revolver .36 Caliber
Mold has survived in nice condition. The steel is
overall smooth with some light pitting. The hinge works
smoothly without any wiggle, and the “COLT’S PATENT”
stamp on the sprue cutter is fully legible. The side of
cavity block is legibly stamped “.36 P”, identifying
this mold to the Colt Police Revolver.
These molds specifically made for the Colt Police
revolvers are not particularly common as the Police
models were not made in the same large quantities as
some of the other Colt pistols. This is a respectable
specimen and would be a nice addition to a cased Model
1862 Colt Police Pistol. (0341) $275
