FRANKFORD ARSENAL .30 CALIBER AMMUNITION RESIZING DIE
SETS DATED 1905:
These dies were manufactured by the Frankford Arsenal
and issued to the troops for reloading .30 caliber rifle
ammunition at the unit level. Intended to reduce the
cost of ammunition used for target practice, these dies
are a very nice accessory to display with your Krag or
Model 1903 Springfield Rifle.

RESIZING DIE
No. 2:
Identical to the large die listed in Number 1 listed above, this piece measures 2 1/8” long and 1” in diameter,
and is stamped “RESIZING DIE”, “FRANKFORD ARSENAL”, “SH”
and “1905”. It is also stamped with some illegible
characters on the opposite side, likely a unit applied
identification. In very good condition, this piece
shows little evidence of use and retains a bright clear
finish on all the machined surfaces.

TWO PIECE
RESIZING DIE SET No. 1:
The larger
piece measures 2 1/8” long and 1” in diameter, and is
stamped “RESIZING DIE”, “FRANKFORD ARSENAL”, “J.M.G.”
and “1905”. The smaller piece measures 1 ¼” long and ¾”
in diameter, and is stamped “RESIZING PUNCH”, “FA” for
Frankford Arsenal, “SH”, and “1905”. Both pieces
are in like new condition, with no signs of use, no
corrosion, and with a bright clear finish on all the
machined surfaces.
