WINCHESTER .38 S&W SPECIAL BULLET MOLD:
A very nicely marked Winchester Bullet mold in .38 S&W
Special, this mold has a unique feature of not only
having the cavity for the normal grooved bullet, but
also has a round ball cavity as well. Whether this was
a factory offering on a special order basis or an
addition by an early owner is unknown, but the round
ball cavity is very well executed.
The mold shows little use and the blocks align perfectly
with no play or misshaping. The Winchester Company name
and address are legibly stamped on one block and the
caliber designation is stamped on the swell of the
handle between the hinge pin and the wooden grip. The
sprue cutter is present, intact and moves freely without
being loose or sloppy. The blocks, sprue cutter, and
handles retain much of the original blued finish. The
grips are original to the mold and are full form with no
cracks, chips or other damage, and they retain both sets
of brass ferrules which have a nice aged patina.
This is a very nice Winchester mold to add to your
