MARBLE’S AUXILIARY CHAMBER CONVERTERS – SET OF
SIX: Made from 1907 to 1959, these Marble’s
Auxiliary Chamber Converters allowed the sportsman to
carry a smaller caliber converter and matching
cartridges to take smaller game for the pot or varmints
without blowing them to smithereens.
In very nice condition, the following converters are
included in this group:
No. 151 (30-30/.32 Short Colt);
No. 153 (.303 Savage/.32 S&W Smokeless);
No. 157 (30-40 Krag/.32 Colt Auto);
No. 163 (.25 Remington/.25 Colt Auto);
No. 171 (.250-3000 Savage/.25 Short Stevens Rim fire);
The last one is brass and I believe it is intended to be
used in a .410 shotgun and it will accept a .44 S&W
Special. It will also chamber in a .45-70. It is not
marked and this one may take a bit of research, but I’m
including in this lot as a “gimmie”.
This is a good opportunity to acquire a nice set to add
to a collection of Marble’s converters. (0418) $185
for the set
