19TH CENTURY PISTOL SKELETON SHOULDER
STOCK: This steel skeleton shoulder stock was
likely marketed for the small frame revolvers of the
late 19TH Century and various single shot
pistols of the same period such as the Stevens Target
and Sporting Pistols and the Stevens Pocket Rifles.
Probably nickel plated at one time, this stock has an
aged appearance with an overall lightly pitted,
naturally browned surface. The adjustable jaw is
intact and functions properly on the threaded adjustment
shaft, and the original nickel plated knurled edge nut
is present and functions properly. The entire
frame is strong and in the original form with no
structural damage, no bends or kinks and no weak points.
