INDIAN WAR ERA ARCHIBALD PATTERN GATLING GUN WHEELS-PAIR:  A very nice, matched pair of Archibald Pattern Gatling Gun Wheels.  Both wheels are structurally tight with no signs of rot, and no breakage, the wood is still “live” enough that the wheels still have a “bounce”, and the iron tires still have a tight fit on the wooden rims. The original Indian War green paint is strong on the sides of the rims, and is peeling in areas on some of the spokes.  Other spokes still retain the majority of the original paint.  The hubs are solid with no sign of corrosion that has affected their structural integrity.  The wheels are in identical condition and measure 55” in diameter and the tire width is 2”.   SOLD
