TINTYPE OF A CIVIL WAR UNION SOLDIER – ARMED WITH
A SPENCER RIFLE – EXCELLENT RARE IMAGE: This is
an excellent full view tintype of a Civil War era
soldier armed with the famous Spencer Rifle. Standing
straight and proud in his dress uniform and shako, and
fully armed with his shoulder slings, cartridge box and
bayonet, the soldier has his treasured Spencer Rifle
posed front and center in full view.
The image is clear and undamaged and shows no notable
wear. The image
measures 3 7/8” tall and 2 ¼” wide.
