MODEL 1923 FIRST AID POCKET POUCHES – WORLD WAR
TWO PRODUCTION POUCHES IN VERY GOOD CONDITION:
This selection of World War Two era Model 1923 First Aid
Pouches are in very good to excellent condition and are
representative of those issued during the war.
I
have the following pouches available, shown below with
full descriptions and accompanying photographs, and each
is priced individually.

NO. 1:
DATE 1944 US ARMY BRITISH MADE FIRST AID POUCH:
In like new, unissued condition, this US Army Model 1923
First Aid Pouch was manufactured in Britain under a
contract for the US Government and is legibly dated
stamped on the inside of the flap, “U.S. A.C. 1944
BRITISH MADE”. It also has an ink stamped British
“Broad Arrow” proof mark over “109”, likely the
manufacturer or inspector’s number. The pouch shows no
wear or damage, the snap and wire hanger have the
original black finish intact, and the snap is fully
functional. Overall a very nice pouch. (0632) $25

NO. 2:
DATE 1944 US ARMY BRITISH MADE FIRST AID POUCH:
In very good condition, this US Army Model 1923 First
Aid Pouch was manufactured in Britain under a contract
for the US Government and is legibly dated stamped on
the inside of the flap, “M.E. Co. 1944 BRITISH MADE”.
The pouch shows little wear, no damage and, only minor
soiling on the reverse of the pouch body. The snap and
wire hanger have the original black finish intact, and
the snap is fully functional. Overall a very nice

NO. 3:
LATE-POST WORLD WAR II ca. 1945 FIRST AID POUCH:
In very good condition, this US Army Model 1942 First
Aid Pouch was manufactured in the late to post war
period, ca. 1945. The US contract and maker’s ink stamp
is still present on the reverse of the pouch but is no
longer legible. A soldier’s name is written on the
reverse. The pouch shows little wear and no damage, the
snap and wire hanger retain much of the original subdued
finish, and the snap is fully functional. (0634) $15
