MODEL 1909 .45 CALIBER COLT DOUBLE ACTION PISTOL MANUAL, ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT REPRINT:  A quality reprint of the “DESCRIPTION OF THE COLT’S DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER CALIBER .45, MODEL OF 1909, WITH RULES FOR THE MANAGEMENT, MEMORANDA OF TRAJECTORY, AND DESCRIPTION OF AMMUNITION”, printed by the Government printing office, Washington, in 1913.  This is an exact reproduction of the service manual issued by the U.S. Army to the soldiers with the Model 1909 Colt Pistol before and during World War I.  The manual consists of 13 pages of text covering the description, nomenclature, parts, ammunition, care and use of this historic arm, as well as 5 illustrated and photographic plates.  An important addition to the library of any serious student of the army’s early 20TH Century Revolvers.  SOLD
