CIVIL WAR SPENCER CARBINE AND RIFLE COMBINATION
SCREWDRIVER – MANUFACTURED BY THE SPENCER RIFLE COMPANY:
This Combination Screwdriver was manufactured at the
Spencer Rifle Company and was the standard issue tool
supplied with the Civil War era Spencer Carbines and
Rifles, incorporating the two different sizes of
screwdrivers necessary to dismount and maintain these
famous firearms.
This specimen is in excellent condition with a freely
moving blade. The original factory applied blue
finish is intact and contrasts with the original rivet
finish of being left in the "white".
Overall, a very nice specimen.
One of the more difficult Civil War gun tools to find
today intact and is a nice appendage to display with
your Civil War Spencer. See Gun Tools, Their History
